Hello family & friends,
Wiggles & I have grown a lot in the last 3 weeks, as you can see. Can't believe that it is February already. I am now in week 30...only 10 weeks to go. Walter, Wiggles, and I spent the morning kayaking north of Davenport. It was a sunny calm day. The visibility was incredible. Looking down into the water, we could see bull kelp drifting with the waves. We also saw a grey whale and a harbor seal. It has been a very dry warm winter in California, which is sad for the fish but good for adventures.
Thank you to everyone that emailed over the last few weeks. We didn't find out if Wiggles is a boy or a girl. I would love to here your guess on the matter. We have an amazing obstetrician, who I think is really a midwife in disguise. We are planning to give birth at the birthing center in Santa Cruz, which is across the street from the hospital ( just in case). Our doula is also a midwife. I am taking a pregnancy pilates & a pregnancy yoga class. Walter & I are also taking a mindful child birth class. I have gained 20 pounds so far. I may reach 200 pounds, which will be crazy.
