Dear friends and family,
Mother's day this year was bittersweet. After battling leukemia for a year Walter's mom Claire passed away. Quincy & I had a chance to say goodbye on saturday. Claire was surrounded by love on her final day with her three children, loving husband and daughter in law, Fred. The past week has been filled with family time with the Heady's. Quincy is very lucky to be apart of such a loving family. He has really enjoyed being held by everyone. It is also fun for Walter & I to be able to eat hot food at the same time.
We went on our first big hike in the woods. Quincy was not trilled getting his diaper changed on his mom's lap under the redwood trees. I am sure he will get used to haphazard diaper changes. Quincy is getting stronger everday. It is so fun to watch him change.
